Travel Vaccine Advisor is a static information site. We use Google Analytics to measure aggregate traffic, but we don't run ads, sell your data, or collect personal information directly from readers.
What we collect
No personal information directly. The site has no accounts, forms, or comments. We use Google Analytics 4 to measure aggregate traffic — which pages are visited, approximate location (country/city), device and browser type, and how visitors arrive. We don't ask for or store names, emails, or other identifying details.
Hosting and server logs
The site is served as static files from our hosting provider. Like every web host, the server may keep short-term request logs (IP address, user agent, requested URL) for abuse prevention and uptime. We don't use those logs to build profiles of visitors.
Third-party resources
Pages load fonts and icons from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com, fonts.gstatic.com) and send anonymous usage data to Google Analytics (googletagmanager.com). These requests expose your IP address to Google, as with any site that embeds Google services. We link out to CDC Travelers' Health from country and vaccine pages; following those links is governed by CDC's privacy notice.
Cookies
Google Analytics sets first-party cookies (such as _ga and _ga_*) to distinguish unique visitors and measure repeat visits. We don't use them for advertising. You can opt out using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on or by blocking cookies in your browser.
Children
The site is general-audience travel health information. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone, including children under 13.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be published at this URL. Material changes will be reflected in the page's last review date in our content workflow.
