Czechia
Eastern Europe · Updated April 2026
For most travellers to Czechia, CDC recommends being up to date on routine vaccines plus hepatitis A. Depending on your plans, hepatitis B, rabies and tick-borne encephalitis may also be advised, particularly for extensive outdoor or tick exposure. See a travel health professional 4–6 weeks before you depart to review your itinerary.
Tick-borne encephalitis risk is highest during the spring-to-autumn tick season for those spending time in forested areas.
